生命光的朋友們：

主內平安！祝福大家度過了一個美好的復活節，因為這是我們從神領受的最大的恩典。“耶穌被交給人，是為我們的過犯；復活，是為我們稱義。”（羅馬書4:25）

因為疫苗注射的普及，美國的疫情已經得到有效的控制，好像我們在黑暗的隧道中看到光一樣，盼望神憐憫這地，使疫情盡快地過去。

生命光在今年很快地度過了第一季度，我們將所做的事工與大家分享：

一、短宣事工：

在去年最困難的時期，我們的同工Kitty仍然前往中國鄭州盲校探訪與關懷盲人學生，通過語音視頻，使身處在美國的我們也可以毫無阻攔地與學生們溝通對話，將主耶穌的愛帶給他們。因此，今年Kitty和另外一位同工收集了以往短宣的資料，做了充足的準備，將繼續帶著主耶穌的愛和我們的關懷前往鄭州盲校探訪，願主耶穌帶領和祝福他們服侍的腳步！

二、教育事工：

1.專業教育方面，除了去年幫助一位主修音樂教學的盲人研究生之外，今年我們又支持了一位主修廣播的盲人研究生，以往我們只是幫助大專生或者是中專生，但是感謝神，神在這兩年為我們拓寬道路，使我們有機會能夠幫助更多的修讀高學位的盲人學生。

2.神學教育方面，我們繼續支持修讀中華福音神學院和西南浸信會神學院課程的神學生的所有學費。

三、網絡宣教：

今年年初在網絡宣教的事工上，我們遇到了一些困難，由於中國政府的管制，微信公眾號所發佈的節目有時會被屏蔽，同工們經過了一段時間的摸索之後，在製作節目的時候改變策略，盡量避開宗教和政治的敏感詞彙，感謝主，之後所製作的節目都可以在第一時間順利的上傳了。

同時，我們新開設了MBC盲福網絡廣播，開設不久後，盲人同工就可以自行操作與上傳節目。因著YY語音頻道所有的宗教節目被停止，我們不得不將主日崇拜上傳到MBC盲福網絡的網站上，結果因禍得福，神所賜給我們的超過我們所求和所想，經過MBC盲福網站後台的統計，收聽我們主日崇拜節目的人數竟然比原來增加了5倍。

最後，關於台灣和大陸的音樂布道事工，雖然生命光藝術團取消了在美國和東南亞的音樂佈道，但卻在台灣和大陸本土擴展了他們的事工，使更多本地的教會在敬拜讚美中聽到了他們美好的見證，將榮耀歸給神！

在今年剩下的時間當中，生命光會繼續本著“為主奉獻，宣揚福音”的異象開展各項事工，願上帝帶領和賜福生命光前面的道路，也請大家繼續支持我們，為我們代禱，謝謝大家！

Dear Life Light Friends,

Peace in the Lord! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! It is the greatest grace we have received from God. “He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.” Romans 4:25

Due to the availability of vaccinations, the Covid-19 rates in the United States have been effectively under control. It seems we are seeing the light in a dark tunnel. Praying it will be over soon!

Time has really passed quickly! Let me share with you about our ministry in the first quarter:

  • 1、Short-term missions:
    In the middle of the most difficult period last year, our co-worker Kitty still went to visit Zhengzhou Blind School. Thanks to Zoom, we also communicated with these blind students without being physically present at the school. This year Kitty and another co-worker plan to visit Zhengzhou Blind School without us again. They will have more time to prepare for this trip and it is our hope that they will to show our love and compassion to these students.
  • 2、Educational Ministry:
  • a) In terms of professional education, we’ve had some expansion! In addition to helping a blind graduate student majoring in music teaching last year, this year we added another blind graduate student majoring in broadcasting. In the past, we only helped college or VOCATIONAL high school students, but thank God in the past two years, we’ve had the opportunity to help more blind students who seek higher degrees.
  • b)In terms of theological education, we continue to support all the tuition for students who are studying at China Theological Seminary and Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary.
  • 3、Online ministry:
    At the beginning of this year, we encountered some difficulties with the online ministry. Due to the Chinese government’s strict control, our radio programs published on the WeChat official account were sometimes blocked. After a period of multiple attempts and much perseverance, our co-workers finally figured out how to avoid religious and politically sensitive words. Our radio programs can now be uploaded smoothly.
    At the same time, we have established the MBC Online broadcasting Station. Now our Chinese Blind co-workers can operate and upload programs by themselves. With all of the religious channels on the YY being forced to close, we had to upload our Sunday online worship to the MBC Broadcasting Station. As a result, it turned out to be a blessing. The number of people listening to our Sunday worship program has increased by 5 times. God always provides us with more than we ask for!
  • 4、The music evangelistic ministry in Taiwan and in the mainland are still stable and thriving. Although we were forced to cancel the music preaching in the United States and Southeast Asia due to Covid-19, it has led to the expansion of their ministry in Taiwan and mainland China. Enabling more local churches to worship and hear their beautiful testimonies. We praise and give glory to God!
